Synopsis
Dr Diane Khoury runs a unique health centre with iron determination and a heart of gold. Together with midwife Manon, intern Inès and spirited nurse Awa, they provide essential care and support to women facing life’s toughest challenges. Their daily rhythm flows between medical consultations, group sessions and coordination with social workers, psychologists and police. Through victories and setbacks, they’ve become a family united by their mission to help and heal. But when government inspectors arrive to audit the centre’s finances, Diane is faced with financial pressures, limited space and a growing need for her services without knowing if she can secure the centre’s future.

Mélisa Godet trained at Sciences Po Toulouse and earned a master’s degree from INA Sup. She worked for 12 years at Les Productions du Trésor, starting as an assistant to producer Alain Attal and rising to head of script development. She’s also the author of the award-winning novel Les Augustins (2014). La maison des femmes (2025/2026): Her acclaimed feature film directorial debut is inspired by the real work of an association that helps women victims of violence in Saint-Denis.
