The Centro Cultural Marcos Valcárcel will be completely transformed into Middle-earth to host one of the most eagerly anticipated and ambitious exhibitions of the festival’s 31st edition. To mark the 25th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings film saga, the OUFF presents The Land of the Ring. A Journey Through Realms, an extraordinary exhibition bringing together a carefully curated and unique collection of pieces inspired by one of the most recognisable and admired fantasy universes of all time.

The exhibition brings together pieces from private collections and from some of the most prestigious and internationally renowned manufacturers in the world of fantasy memorabilia.
This selection of large-scale sculptures and replicas allows visitors to admire every detail with astonishing precision – from the textures of fabrics and materials to the expression, strength and unique characterisation of each character.
Through a carefully selected collection and highly detailed settings, visitors can follow a direct route from the Shire to the most distant realms, discovering life-size statues, full-scale figures, official weapon replicas, and all kinds of legendary collectible items up close. From the peaceful homes of the Hobbits to the great realms of Men, through the elegance of the Elves, the strength of the Dwarves, and the mystery of the creatures inhabiting this cinematic universe, the exhibition offers an opportunity to appreciate the extraordinary artistic and technical work, as well as the craftsmanship, behind every representation.
