Jaime Iglesias Gamboa
A film journalist and historian born in Madrid in 1976, with a long career dedicated to the analysis, outreach and research of the seventh art. Throughout his career, he’s contributed to outlets such as Muy Interesante, QUO, El Mundo, and Cine Premiere (Mexico) where he worked as Spain correspondent. He currently writes regularly for the newspaper Gara and the magazine Dirigido por…. He’s the author of the monograph Robert Aldrich and co-author of El universo de Marilyn Monroe. He was coordinator for the San Sebastián de los Reyes Film Showcase and is part of the editorial team for the San Sebastián International Film Festival’s official daily paper, working as a columnist and analyst. His work combines research rigour with a passion for film history.
