Synopsis
Warsaw, Poland – December 13, 1981 – Martial law is imposed just as British psychiatry professor Dr Joan Andrews (Manville) arrives in Warsaw as a visiting lecturer at the university. But as chaos engulfs the city, Andrews, armed with her camera, witnesses a brutal murder at the hands of the secret police.

Adamik comes from a family of filmmakers. Born in Warsaw, she emigrated to France with her mother and worked for years as a storyboard artist in the United States. She directed Bark! and The Offsiders, and co-directed with her mother, Agnieszka Holland, Janosik: A True Story and Spoor, winner of the Silver Bear at the Berlinale.
