The poster for the OUFF 30

The poster for the 30th edition of the Ourense Film Festival is the work of Miguel Robledo, an Ourense-born illustrator. It features Calpurnia and the city of Ourense with its bridges and river, among other elements.

About Miguel Robledo

A self-taught illustrator, he was born in Ourense and began his professional career in the field of comics before moving into editorial illustration and graphic communication.

Throughout his professional career, he has worked in the animation industry, both on TV projects and in film production companies. He is currently the art director at Aira Editorial, where he has illustrated Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Kenji Miyazawa’s Unha noite no tren da Vía Láctea, Johanna Spyri’s Heidi, and José Ovejero’s Tres contos para nenas malas, among others.

For the first time, the poster for the Ourense Film Fetsival has a moving version. Based on Miguel Robledo’s drawing, it features animation by Soraya Picouto and sound by Sebastián Mato, including elements such as the sound of a knife sharpener, a train or a flowing river. It also features the new festival logo, designed by Miguelanxo Carvalho.
