Synopsis
In search of inspiration for her new novel, Sylvie spies on her neighbours across the street. When she hires young Adam to help her with her daily routine, she can’t imagine he’ll turn both her life and her work upside down, until the fiction she had imagined exceeds the reality of all of them.

Iran, 1972
Iranian film director, screenwriter and producer. At the age of 15, he joined the Iranian Youth Film Society. He graduated with a degree in theatre and film directing at the University of Tehran in 1998. He directed highly successful television series in his country before making the leap to feature films. His first feature film was Dancing with the Dust. International fame came with titles such as About Elly (2009), A Separation (2011), the latter of which earned him his first Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. He won the award again with The Salesman (2016). He also directed acclaimed films such as Everybody Knows (2018), filmed in Spain, and A Hero (Ghahrema). He’s considered one of the most influential filmmakers of the 21st century thanks to his stories about moral and family conflicts.
